Supetar – Island Brač

The city of Supetar offers a variety of restaurants and events, as well as possibilities for sports and recreation (soccer, tennis, scuba diving, etc.) Many excursions are organized from Supetar to the nearby islands of Hvar and Vis. Supetar also has excellent connections with Split, making it possible to visit some of the nearby historic cities of Dalmatia or some nature sites (such as e.g. the rivers Cetina and Krka, mount Biokovo, etc.).

Supetar also offers a series of events throughout the summer, such as the Supetar Summer, the Supetar Film Festival and other cultural and entertaining events. Supetar is located on the biggest and highest island in Dalmatia, the island of Brač. The island of Brač offers numerous possibilities for entertainment and leisure, some of which are surfing on the world-famous beach Zlatni rat, paragliding at Vidova gora, hunting in the higher parts of the island, hiking excursions to Cave Dragonjina and the Blaca desert, sunbathing on beaches made  of the finest sand and pebbles, enjoying local cheese, lamb, fish, etc.
